Buying high retention YouTube views: what to know before you choose

What are high retention YouTube views?

High retention YouTube views are views that, instead of closing the video after a few seconds, keep watching for the time stated on the service. They are called High Retention Views, or HR Views for short, and 1PANEL PLUS sells them split by retention time, priced per 1,000 views.

YouTube Studio shows average view duration and watch time separately from views. Even with many views, if everyone leaves quickly, average view duration comes out short; when each view stays a long time, far more watch time builds up from the same number of views. Buying high retention YouTube views is the service to use when you want to fill both of these numbers together.

High retention views are especially popular for carefully made long videos, videos such as lessons or reviews that need to be watched to the end to get the message across, and videos where you need to show average view duration in sponsorship materials. If you want to grow YouTube views in a way that shows watch history as well as numbers, high retention views fit better than regular views.

Ordering works the same as regular views. Pick a tier and quantity on the order card, and the service and quantity are prefilled on the member New order screen, so you can order right away by pasting just your video link. You only enter a video link and quantity, and we never take Google account passwords or channel admin access. After ordering, the start count and remaining quantity update automatically in your order list, and for refill services you can request a refill on the order detail screen.

How are high retention views different from regular views?

The biggest difference is how long each view watches the video. Regular view services are built to grow numbers, so retention time is either not stated in the name or shown as Retention: Random, while high retention view services state their retention time as a number in the name.

Regular views
Many services have a low price per 1,000 and a high daily capacity. They are great for quickly filling a video's first numbers and visible engagement.
High retention views
With a set retention time, you can calculate the watch time each view leaves in advance. Longer retention means a higher price per 1,000, and the daily capacity tends to be lower than regular views.
Watch hour services
Services where you order watch time itself in hours, not views. Use them when you want to hit a target such as 4,000 hours directly.

In short: if the number is the goal, use regular views; to show numbers and view duration together, use high retention views; and if the hours themselves are the goal, use watch hour services. All three are ordered with the same balance, so many customers mix them to fit each video's purpose.

For example, you can fill the first numbers with regular views on the day you upload a new video, then add view duration a few days later with high retention views. When adding two services to the same video, place the next order after confirming the previous one has completed so delivered quantities do not mix.

How do I choose a retention time?

As a rule, choose the retention time to match your video length. If you put a 10 minute retention service on a 3 minute video, viewers only watch until the video ends, so it is best to pick a retention time shorter than the video.

  • Short videos of about a minute: 10~20 second or 30~60 second retention services fit well.
  • Videos of 5~10 minutes: people often choose 1, 2 or 3 minute retention services, or services with a range such as 1~5 minutes.
  • Long videos over 15 minutes: 5, 10 or 15 minute retention services greatly increase the watch time of each view.
  • For services labeled with a range, such as 1-10 Mins Watch Time, the retention time of each view varies within that range.

The table below groups the high retention view services on sale by the retention time in their names and shows the number of services and the starting price per 1,000. Even within the same retention time, refill period and daily capacity differ, so check the starting price in the table and pick a service from the full list below.

If your video already has a certain average view duration, another approach is to choose a retention time similar to or slightly longer than it. Check each video's average view duration in the Analytics section of YouTube Studio before choosing, and the graph continues without looking out of place after you order.

How much watch time do high retention views build?

Multiply the number of views by the retention time to get the approximate watch time. For example, 1,000 views from a 3 minute retention service is 3,000 minutes, or about 50 hours, and 10,000 views from a 5 minute retention service is 50,000 minutes, or about 833 hours. 1PANEL PLUS high retention views currently start from $0.2347 per 1,000, so looking at starting prices by retention time alongside this math lets you compare the cost of filling one hour.

Tap the 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 or 50,000 buttons on the order card to see the actual cost for each tier right away. The cost is price per 1,000 x quantity / 1,000, and you can enter exactly the number you want between the minimum and maximum quantity. Services with 10 minutes or more of retention tend to have small minimums, so they are also great for testing with a small quantity first.

If your target is 4,000 watch hours, you need about 48,000 views with a 5 minute retention service, or about 24,000 views with a 10 minute retention service. That said, the time YouTube counts for the Partner Program is watch time on public long-form videos, and the number you see in YouTube Studio is the reference for the actual count. If you want to order directly in hours, watch hour services make the math easier. High retention views raise the view count along with watch time, so they work especially well for videos where you want to fill hours and numbers in one go. Spreading them across several videos also shows your whole channel's watch time growing evenly.

How do Standard, Refill and Premium high retention views differ?

The three tiers on the order card are split by the refill period attached to each service. A refill means filling back in whatever views dropped after the order finished, and the period counts from the day the order completed.

Standard
Services without refill. This tier includes services naming a suggested video source, such as Source: Suggest, or a country, such as USA.
Refill
Services with a 30 or 60 day refill. It includes 1~5 minute retention services, Google search source services and services that add likes as a bonus.
Premium
Services with a 365 day or lifetime refill. Many have a single retention time in the name, such as Retention : 1 Min, 2 Mins or 3 Mins.

The number of services in each tier and the starting price per 1,000 views are calculated straight from the live sales list, as in the table below. The order card shows the lowest price among services that can take the tier and quantity you pick first, so if you want a specific retention time, pick it by service ID from the full list.

How do I read high retention view service names?

Service names list the retention time, traffic source, start time, daily capacity and refill period in order. Reading the name alone tells you what kind of views arrive at what speed, so even first-time customers can compare easily with the table. 1PANEL PLUS shows these labels in the service table exactly as they are.

Retention : 1 Min, 1-5 Mins Watch Time
How long each view watches the video. A single number means that time; a range means it varies within that range for each view.
Source: Suggest, Source: Google Search
Where views come from. Services labeled as views arriving through suggested video spots or Google search.
Geo: Worldwide, Geo: Russia, CIS, USA
The region views come from. Services without a country do not set a region.
0-8Hr, Speed 500-1K/D
A planned speed of starting within 8 hours after ordering and delivering about 500~1,000 views per day.
With Bonus Likes, + Likes
Services that add likes as a bonus along with views. The order quantity is based on views.

The speed in the name is the planned speed, so it can vary slightly when orders are busy. Because each high retention view stays longer, daily capacity is set lower than for regular views. When adding a large quantity, divide by the daily capacity to estimate roughly when it will finish.

For example, adding 10,000 with a 500~1,000 per day service is planned to spread over about ten to twenty days. If you need to finish by a set date, choose a large capacity service such as Speed 50-60K/D or Speed 100K/D; if you want the graph to rise gently, choose a small capacity service. The actual delivered quantity updates automatically in your order list.

Can high retention views drop too?

They can. When YouTube recounts views and watch time, it may remove views it considers invalid, so the numbers can go down a little after ordering. Services with a refill period are designed for exactly this case.

  • For Refill and Premium services, request a refill with the Refill button on the order detail screen once the order is completed or partially completed.
  • Each order can have one refill request open at a time, and the next request can be made 24 hours later.
  • The refill period counts from the day the order completed, and the period is shown in the Refill column of the service table.
  • The Standard tier has no refill, so add a little extra to allow for drops, or switch to the Refill tier.

If an order cannot be processed and is canceled, the full amount paid is refunded to your balance automatically, and if it ends with only part processed, the unprocessed part is refunded. The detailed rules are in the Refund Policy.

Lifetime refill (Lifetime Refill) is a label for services whose refill period is not set by date. For videos where watch time needs to hold for a long time, choosing the Premium tier from the start makes management easier.

Do high retention views help with monetization requirements?

The YouTube Partner Program looks at 1,000 subscribers together with 4,000 public long-form watch hours in the last 12 months, or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days. High retention views build watch time along with views, so long-form channels use them when preparing watch hours. You can prepare the subscriber requirement separately on Buy YouTube Subscribers.

Watch time counts on public long-form videos. Time watched in the Shorts feed does not count toward the 4,000 hours, and time on videos you delete or make private is removed too. So high retention views are best added to long videos you will keep public for a long time, while services on the YouTube Shorts Views page fit Shorts.

YouTube's official help states that Partner Program updates apply from February 1, 2027. According to reports, from then on newly applying channels will need 8,000 watch hours or 20 million Shorts views, so be sure to check the thresholds in YouTube Studio and the official help. A summary is in our YouTube monetization requirements guide. YouTube decides approval based on the channel's content and policy compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions people ask most before buying high retention YouTube views. Other questions are on the FAQ page.

See all questions

What are high retention views?

Views where each one keeps watching the video for the time stated on the service. The retention time is written as a number in the name, so you can calculate the watch time that builds up in advance.

How are they different from regular views?

Regular views are built to grow numbers, while high retention views have a set retention time. That is why high retention views tend to have a higher price per 1,000 and a lower daily capacity.

What retention time should I choose?

As a rule, choose a retention time shorter than the video. For 5~10 minute videos, people often choose 1~3 minute retention services.

Do you need my password or channel access?

No. You enter only a video address and quantity, and we never ask for your Google account password or admin access under any circumstances.

When does my order start?

It starts according to the start time label in the service name. 0-8Hr services are planned to start within 8 hours, and the delivered quantity updates automatically in your order list.

Do high retention views increase watch time?

These services build watch time equal to the number of views multiplied by the retention time. The number in YouTube Studio is the reference for the actual count, and only time on public long-form videos counts toward Partner Program requirements.

Can I choose the country views come from?

Services with a region in the name, such as USA, Worldwide, Russia or CIS, deliver from that region. Services without a region do not set one.

Can I use them on Shorts?

Services with Video/Short Views in the name accept Shorts addresses too. That said, time watched in the Shorts feed does not count toward the 4,000 hours, so Shorts-only services fit Shorts better.

What if my purchased views drop?

For Refill and Premium services, request a refill on the order detail screen within the refill period, and the drop is filled back in. You can make one request at a time, every 24 hours.

How do I pay?

Top up your balance with USDT (TRC20), and each order is deducted from your balance. Your remaining balance carries straight into your next order.

Am I refunded if my order is not processed?

Canceled orders are refunded in full, and partly processed orders for the unprocessed part, to your balance automatically.
